In spring '04 I decided to visit one of the largest guitar shops in Austria to buy a new guitar after 12 years of playing Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro exclusively. I spent all day testing and compearing but unfortunatelly didn't find what I was looking for. The necks were not comfortable for fast action and the bodys just didn't resonate as they should. I decided to take a ride on the higher price models costing more than $2000. This time the sound was cool, finish excellent but the string action still wasn't good enough. I hate to buy a guitar and taking it directly to the guitar shop for setting it right. I went home with the decision to build a guitar by myself. I bought some tools as jig saw, binding router, drum sander etc. and spent almost a month searching around the net for informations. A trip for knowledge was outstanding! I have never imagined that I'll be so much satisfied with the final result. Now I finally have my new axe. It's unique, it's mine, it's custom build and the most important it has a sound and feel that rocks jazz as well as heavy metal within the same body. It took me more than three months to build this beauty, a hybrid between an old school Telecaster, Music Man Axis Sport and my old time favorite Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro. An excellent painting job was done by Damjan Uratnik, professional car painter.
